The new research project of the (Italian) Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare, named Mathematical Methods in Non Linear Physics started. Its activities will take place in 2021-2023. The project consists of 3 research units (Lecce, Rome, Milan-Bicocca) and 17 researchers, coordinated by R. Vitolo.

The paper by R. Vitolo: Computing with Hamiltonian operators has been accepted for publication in Computer Physics Communications. The journal is no.1 in the Web of Science category PHYSICS, MATHEMATICAL by its Impact Factor (2017). From one of the Referee's report: ... the paper provides an impressive collection of non-trivial examples taken from literature. These examples set a high standard for future software developers in this area.

The paper by M. Pavlov and R. Vitolo: Bi-Hamiltonian structure of the Oriented Associativity equation has been published in J. Phys. A: Theor. Math. - Letters. The section `Letters' is devoted to "outstanding short papers reporting new and timely developments in mathematical and theoretical physics".
